Geophysics and Geology Professor Dr. Danica Roth, has been awarded the “Creating a Culture of Inclusion (Faculty) Award” for her work as co-char of the Geology and Geological Engineering Diversity, Inclusion and Access committee. Danica uses her skills as a facilitator, her knowledge and personal experience of diversity issues to promote department cohesiveness through group dialogue and discussion using the department’s DI&A meetings as the platform. Danica is an excellent advocate for students. She makes sure everyone’s voices are heard and actively encourages student participation in DI&A work.
