  • Marine electromagnetic methods
  • Submarine groundwater systems
  • Imaging magmatic systems of volcanic systems to mitigate volcanic hazards
  • Capturing the shallow (<200 meters to seafloor) fluid dynamics of marine hydrocarbon seeps to better understand their spatial and temporal variability
  • Developing new high-resolution controlled source electromagnetic instruments/methods for use in marine archeological studies and collecting geotechnical data on the shallow subseafloor relevant to offshore infrastructure projects
  • Paleolandscape reconstruction with scientific and indigenous knowledge
